Would you like to help Parya Trillium run events and activities through volunteering? Parya Trillium is supported in many ways by a large and vibrant volunteer base and volunteers play a key role in making Parya Trillium a successful community centre. They contribute actively in all aspects of the organization and help us provide exemplary services to all members of the Iranian-Canadian community including seniors, youth and newcomers.

Annually, Parya’s dedicated volunteers contribute more than 106,000 hours of their valuable time to ensuring Parya Trillium programs run smoothly, the equivalent of 54 full-time staff.

Our volunteers come from different all different age groups and backgrounds. We provide orientation and ongoing training for all new volunteers. Volunteering contributions are recognized in our annual Volunteer Recognition Week and social activities are organized to enhance team spirit and promote staff-volunteer relationship.

Please note: that all volunteers aged 18+ will be required to follow the regular screening process which includes a Police Reference Check. Volunteers aged 14-16 will be required to complete a Parental Consent form.

At present, Parya Trillium is looking for volunteers to help set up our Persian and English language library, to help us in creating an archive. We are always looking for volunteers to help with events.
